Make A Difference Engineering (MADE at TU) is one of the many donor-funded programs that give students hands-on learning experiences while also serving the Tulsa community.

TU researchers awarded grant to buy sophisticated robotic arm 10/31/2022

Mechanical engineering professors Joshua Schultz and Steve Tipton, along with Danielle Macdonald from Anthropology, recently received a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant to purchase a Barrett WAM® robotic arm. One of the most sophisticated robot manipulators in existence, the device will support experiments in engineering and others that help shed light on the lives of prehistoric people.
