A late afternoon cup of coffee while I attempt to fold the laundry that’s been in baskets for weeks. ☕️🧺☠️

This side of our living room gets the best afternoon light. And if my boys decide to nap, I love to make an afternoon cup of coffee and sit in here and work. Do you have a favorite sunny spot in your home?

I partnered with on these leather chairs - I’ll link to them directly in my stories for you!

And if you missed my living room blog post with links and sources, I’ll link that in my stories as well!

Our laundry room is a work in progress, but I wanted to show you my setup so far! I just posted a detailed tour in my stories if you’re into that kind of thing. I get a bit nerdy about pretty little bottles, thrifted jars, and convenient hacks 🤓

I’ve spent hours driving around town delivering peonies to friends and I still have loads sprinkled around our house in vases and in a v large bucket on our counter. Oh and there are still blooms on the bushes for neighbors to enjoy 😉. I’m thinking of starting a side hustle trading blooms for Starbucks or other valuables. Or, watch my kids for 2 hours = 10 stems. That’s fair, right? 🤣 jk on the last one.

The photo tour of our dining room is up on the blog! We don’t have a formal dining room in this house, and the space we do have for a larger table is rather limited. I’m sharing in more detail how helped me customize the pieces for the space. I’m really excited about how it turned out!

While you’re on my blog, go ahead and subscribe to my email newsletter! I’m revamping the whole thing and working on some new content for you. Who has been with me since I started my house flipping tips newsletter? If you’re already subscribed, you’re good!

I can’t even tell you how grown up I feel when I look at this wall of art. Would you believe that this is my first legit art + custom framed purchase? 🙈 For someone who enjoys interior decorating and design, purchasing and framing art has always felt really intimidating. If you have art or family photos that need framing, I would highly recommend . It was so easy to just enter the dimensions of my pieces and then they gave me the final dimensions of the frames & shipping labels to mail in my art. Easy-peasy. I chose the Marin natural wood frame and I LOVE it.

Slowly dragging out the Christmas decorations 🎄✨. Needs some greeeen stat 🌿🌿🌿 Oh and I never posted the “after” of lye-ing the fireplace stone. But this is what it looks like now. I decided to keep the rock mostly covered. I think I like it, but I want the cement mantle top to go away. Adding that to the project list 📝🙈

We are Jeffrey & Emily Netz, and we raise houses and flip babies. We also teach an online course: “The Slow Flip Formula.”

Thankfully, sleep deprivation hasn’t stopped us from pursuing our dreams in our “free time.” Six years ago, we sold our first house and made a small profit practically on accident. The check was enough to pay off what was left on our vehicle loans. Having that extra financial freedom each month is what hooked us on the idea of buying a fixer house, living in it while renovating it, and then turning around to sell it for a profit. Thus we began our journey in "slow flipping" houses and helping others do the same.
