Congratulations to the Mrs. Hughes and the TSAS Speech and Debate Team!

Great job to Ms. Hughes and our amazing Speech and Debate team! At the State speech and debate competition this past weekend, we had some big success!

In Public Forum debate, the 2-person team of Harper Will / Alex Richardson placed 5th overall. In Lincoln Douglas debate, Lilly Cole placed 6th. In international extemporaneous speaking, Lilly and Alex were state finalists, and Joey Thrutchley placed fourth overall. In domestic extemporaneous speaking, Harper Will placed third overall, and Aurora Stewart placed second overall.

Great job to Ms. Hughes and these amazing students!

Are you the parent or guardian of a TSAS Senior? If so, there are some important deadlines coming up that you'll want to pay attention to! 1) Send a baby picture of your senior for the yearbook to [email protected]. They were due Thursday but they are still accepting them - send them ASAP. 2) Senior pictures for the yearbook are due by December 18 - send your high resolution photo to [email protected]. 3) If you want to purchase an ad for the yearbook honoring your senior, you can go to www.yearbookordercenter.com and use code 10023 to purchase an ad.

Finally, Cathy Denton will hold a Zoom Q&A meeting about Capstone on Tuesday, November 17 at 6 pm. Daniel Sharples sent an email about this with the link to the Zoom call to all parents yesterday. Check your emails!

As an independent public charter school, we are taking this time to survey our community and gather information on the unique needs of Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences. Please fill out the survey you have received in your weekly email from Daniel Sharples. During the second week of November, please look for a decision from Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences regarding the second trimester learning model. A TSAS decision will be based on the unique needs of the TSAS community juxtaposed with best theories for health and safety.
