2013-2014ஆம் கல்வி ஆண்டின் முதல் வகுப்பு ஆகஸ்ட் திங்கள், 24ஆம் நாள் நடைபெறும். 3:00 மணியளவில் நடக்கவிருக்கும் இவ்வகுப்பில் ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் பெற்றோர்கள் ஒன்று கூடி பள்ளியின் செயல் முறை குறித்த பல முக்கிய முடிவுகளை எடுக்க உள்ளோம். பெற்றோர்களுக்கு, பள்ளியின் பதிவு மற்றும் செயலாக்க செலவுகள் விவரிக்கப் படும். மேலும், ஆசிரியர்கள் அனைவரும் அவரவர் படிப்பிக்கும் நிலைகளின் பாடத் திட்டம் மற்றும் வீட்டுப் பாடங்கள் பற்றி விவரிப்பார்கள்.

Tamil Schools registration with ATA for the Academic Year 2013-2014.

Dear Coordinators of Tamil Schools:

vaNakkam. We at ATA are very happy to inform you that the text and exercise books are getting ready for the coming academic year. In addition, serious efforts are underway to get AdvancED accreditation for ATA as a corporation along with Minnesota and Missouri Tamil Schools. Once this initial process is over, we encourage all Tamil schools ready for accreditation process to contact us.

Towards accreditation, we are raising the standard of Tamil education through various ways. We have hired the services of OpenSys for installing E learning and E management systems. Towards this aim, we are in the process of reorganizing ATA web site and integrating moodle system. While the GC members and other dedicated ATA volunteers are working very hard, we have reached a point to outsource many of our web based work.

As a result, the fee for each student in a Tamil School that utilize ATA services of Web learning and web management will be increased to $35 (from $25). This cost would include – Lessons Book, Homework Book, OpenSys Access for attendance and progress trackers, Web based lessons / workbook via Moodle. For those schools who wish to opt out of these facilities and accreditation process but would like to utilize ATA text and exercise books, the fee for each student will be $30. This student will be getting all services that ATA provides except: E learning, E management and AdvancED accreditation process through ATA.
The schools which utilize all the features and processes of ATA will be called as "affiliated schools". Schools using the ATA text books and exercise books only will be called as "participating schools", where they will not have access to E-Learning and E-Management systems and processes.

Rest of the ATA guidelines will be the same to both categories of schools and we will strive hard to cater to the needs of all schools at par, without compromise. I am sure you can understand this small increase in fee structure. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact:
