Like us for updates on Honors Program related events at TU! This page is run by the Honors Program Student Association Organization at the University of Tulsa.
As a Student Association organization, we are student led, and all of our events are open to the public. We provide social and leadership opportunities for TU students. This page will be used to post information on the events that our group hosts, and updates on our meeting times and officer position opportunities. In addition to information on our own events and meetings, we will post reminders about event organized by the Honors Program and the Honors Theme House.
First Honors Student Association meeting will be at 1pm in the Collins Fitness Center Lobby on Saturday!
Senior Sendoff is tonight from 4:00-5:30 in the McFarlin Reading Room. Don't miss it!
Last night the Honors Theme house received awards for best theme house, best event (Trivia Night), best member, and best coordinator. Thank you to our coordinator Kim Poff (Junior) for your work this year. Freshman and Sophomores, if you are interested in living in an honors community, consider joining the Honors Theme house your Junior and Senior year.

We'll be putting on a showing of Dr. Strangelove, and holding a dessert making contest on Monday the 11th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Mayo SAC. Hope to see you there!
Tomorrow night will be the first brainstorming meeting of the semester! We'll be getting together at 7:00 p.m. at the library coffee shop to talk about what events to put on this semester.

We had a lot of fun at the Philosopher's World Cup, and we're looking forward to seeing everyone later tonight for the Death of Socrates Halloween Party! It starts at 7:45 at the Mayo Village SAC.
A brainstorming meeting for upcoming Honors SA events will be held today at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapman Hall Student Lounge. If you have ideas about the upcoming Halloween Party, or about other events you would like to see hosted by Honors SA, come share your thoughts!

The Honors Theme House's next event is going to be a challenge. You are invited to participate in TU's first (hopefully) annual Philosopher's World Cup. Teams will be the Greeks versus the Germans, and will be coached by philosophy faculty (who may even play). The winning team will receive the mark of a true philosophers: beards, and maybe even some laurel wreaths.
If you participate in the game, you are invited to a competitors lunch afterwards. Start signing up today by posting on this status which team you would like to play for.
