Our Debate Students have Returned!

Huge congratulations and shout out to our debate students who arrived back this weekend from their MONTH LONG symposium at Harvard University.

The team got nothing but amazing reports about how well our students represented Oklahoma, TPS and most of all #4929 North Tulsa Debate!

Tulsa Community College has a few spots remaining in their CPT (Certified Production Technician) program for the upcoming school year! Your student would spend about half their day taking college level courses at TCC and would leave the program with 4 different certifications that would make them highly marketable in the CPT field!

We are excited to announce that we have 90%+ of our teachers returning back to McLain this year! This is a big milestone for us as we continue to strive to provide consistency, predictability and healthy staff retention!

We are also ready for our students and 100% fully staffed !!

We are excited to see everyone at our Mandatory "Parent Week" nights starting next Monday July 27th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.

McLain Families *BIG UPDATE*

This year our school day starts with 1st Hour. That means your student will no longer have Advisory first thing in the morning. Your student will now have Math, Science, English, Math, CTE, Electives etc. It is SO IMPORTANT that we have all of our students at school and in their seats in their first hour class at 8:30am.

We know it is that time of the year again where we start to gear up for the upcoming school year. HOWEVER PARENTS WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please make sure when your student leaves the house - they are dressed for success! No PJ pants, no shirts that show your belly, etc.

We will NOT be implementing a traditional uniform this year

We WILL be implementing a DRESS CODE so that all of our students are dressing for success. We will have students go to TRAICE and wait for new clothes if a student does come out of dress code. We have so many opportunities here at McLain and we need everyone to dress for SUCCESS!

Your Titan Debaters have officially taken on Harvard University !!

Yesterday our debaters took to the skies ✈️ as they headed to Boston to participate in the MONTH LONG Harvard Debate Symposium! The first time McLain will be represented at this prestigious symposium!! We are so proud of these trailblazers!!

Huge thank you to their coaches Ross Faith and Ms B for all they have done to prepare for today’s monumental event! Also huge thank you to Debate League for all of their support!
