☀️ Summer Spotlight: Abby Elliott ☀️

🥁 Senior Percussion Leader🥁

Our Summer Spotlight shines on Abby Elliott, who spent July 20–27 serving at Falls Creek near Davis, Oklahoma. Abby has been a member of the youth worship band since 7th grade and has served as a worship leader since 10th grade.

Alongside two other musicians, Abby led cabin worship and devotional time twice each day, using her musical talents (she can sing it) to encourage and inspire campers throughout the week.

We’re so proud of Abby for using her gifts to serve others and represent our band program with leadership, talent, and heart. We can’t wait to see all she’ll accomplish during her senior year. Way to go, Abby! 💙🥁🎶

🥁 Brigade Spotlight: Vince Thomas 💙💛

Tomorrow night, one of our own gets to take the stage at one of the most legendary music venues in the country.

Vince Thomas will be drumming with the third band at the Oklahoma Music Academy Summer Jam Concert at the iconic Cain’s Ballroom.

For musicians, playing Cain’s is something many dream about. It’s a stage filled with history, and we’re so excited to see Vince earn the opportunity to perform there.

Anyone who knows Vince knows he gives his all behind the drums, but he’s also one of the kindest, most helpful students in the Brigade. Whether he’s performing or volunteering to help the Band Boosters, he always shows up with a great attitude.

If you’re looking for something to do tomorrow evening, come out and cheer on Vince as he represents the Brigade on one of Oklahoma’s most famous stages.

Congratulations, Vince! We can’t wait to see you rock Cain’s! 🥁💙💛

Because great seasons don’t happen by accident. They are built with intention.

Today, the 2026 Berryhill Brigade season officially begins.

Our newest members take their first steps during Freshman Camp, while our student leaders help welcome them to the Brigade. In the afternoons, those same student leaders will come together for a two-day Leadership Summit, building on the momentum from last night’s student-organized leadership dinner.

This is where friendships begin. Confidence grows. Leaders emerge. Memories are made.

Here’s to Day 1.
