McClure Elementary School

New Date!!

Monday, August 3rd, our Pre-K team will be assisting with Pre-K enrollment at McClure!

They will be there 8:00am-11:00am and 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
If you or someone you know has a four year old that needs a spot for Pre-K, McClure is excited and ready to welcome them! ❤️

The Oklahoma Caring Van will be providing FREE immunizations for children!

At McClure, We Dress for Success!

Uniforms are highly recommended.

👕 GENERAL CLOTHING

* Every student will be provided with 2 uniform shirts. Wearing them is recommended, but not required.
* School colors: White, navy blue, black, or red.
* Undergarments should not be visible.

Outerwear

Students should store coats, hats, gloves, scarves, etc. in their lockers.

Outerwear is not permitted in classrooms, cafeterias, libraries, or other areas of the school after arrival unless approved by school administration for safety reasons.

Hoodies with pockets are considered outerwear and MUST be stored in lockers.

Head Coverings

Scarves, bandanas, do-rags, head wraps, hats, and wristbands are not permitted in class unless:

* Required by a physician,
* Worn for religious reasons, or
* Approved by school administration (for example, Hat Day).
* Pajamas are not allowed (except on designated spirit days).

👖 PANTS & SHORTS

Pants

* Khaki, navy blue, or solid black pants are permitted.
* Solid-colored jeans in school colors are allowed.
* Ripped or distressed jeans are NOT permitted.

Cargo Pants

Cargo pants are NOT allowed (pants with side pockets on the legs) for safety reasons.

Sweaters & Sweatshirts

Must be in school colors.

Fit

Pants and shorts should be worn at the waist or high on the hips.
Belts are recommended.

Shorts, Jumpers & Skirts

Must be modest in length and no more than 6 inches (15 cm) above the knee.

Girls

Students wearing skirts should wear shorts or leggings underneath for recess and playground activities.

👟 FOOTWEAR

* Closed-toe shoes and sandals with heel straps are allowed.
* Boots may be worn when weather requires.
* Flip-flops and slippers are NOT permitted.

Clothing may NOT display:

* Profanity or inappropriate language.
* Sexually explicit words or images.
* Gang-related symbols, slogans, or references.
* Symbols or messages promoting to***co, alcohol, illegal drugs, or related paraphernalia.
* Symbols or messages promoting violence or hatred toward others.

They will be there until 1pm this afternoon and again at 3-6!
