We are excited to welcome back our outstanding Enrichment Team for another incredible year in Trailblazer Nation! These educators help our students learn, grow, create, move, and discover their passions both inside and outside the classroom. ❤️🤍💙

🏃 Coach Johnson – Physical Education
Coach Johnson has been a Trailblazer staple for more than 10 years and has positively impacted generations of families throughout his 30+ years in education. His influence extends far beyond the gym. As one of the first faces our students see each morning, Coach Johnson helps welcome them to school with a smile, a wave, a fist bump, or sometimes even a much-needed hug. His kindness and genuine care help ensure every student feels seen, valued, and ready to start the day.

🎶 Mr. Schmenk – Music
Our resident music teacher, Mr. Schmenk, is returning for his sixth year as a Trailblazer! Under his guidance, students' love for music truly comes alive. From vocal performance to instrumental expression, Mr. Schmenk is committed to helping students discover and develop their musical talents. His support of our after-school band through the Sistema program provides even more opportunities for students to grow as musicians and performers.

🎨 Mrs. Vogl – Art
Mrs. Vogl enjoyed her first year as a Trailblazer so much that she decided to come back for another year, and we couldn't be happier! Our students benefit from engaging, high-quality art experiences that encourage creativity and self-expression. Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Vogl and her family have fully embraced the Trailblazer community, from cheering on our basketball team each weekend to helping organize our end-of-year family picnic. Her commitment to our school extends well beyond art class, and we are thrilled to have her back.

📚 Ms. Weatherford – Library Media Specialist
Ms. Weatherford is also returning for Year 2 as a Trailblazer, and what a difference she made in her first year! She has transformed our library into a more welcoming and engaging space, actively sought student input on ways to improve, revived our beloved Book Fair, and helped host one of the best Literacy and Numeracy Nights we've seen. Her passion for literacy and student engagement continues to make a lasting impact on our school community.
