Good afternoon, World Changer families.

Today, we are mourning the loss of our resource officer, Derrick Alexander. We just want to take this time to share photos of his time with us at JHF and at Bell Elementary, to show you all just a glimpse of the kind soul that served our community and walked our halls. Officer Alexander, we are so grateful for you and all you have done. Thank you for always checking on our staff, protecting our students, and giving back to the community. You are deeply missed. Rest in peace.

World Changers, it was an honor to grow with you this year. This year held a number of challenges, but we became better because of them. Together we bloom, and it was a joy to grow together! Have a safe summer, and we will see you in August!

In case you didn't already know... we have a really cool after-school club that our 5th graders can sign up to join, where they learn proper cycling etiquette in real time by riding bikes together. When they complete their training at the end of the year, they are awarded brand new bikes for free!

What club is this, might you ask? It's Bike Club, of course! They've been a long standing club at JHF and many other schools for years. It's always a joy to see them enriching our scholars' lives. Thank you again, Bike Club!

🎓5th grade...🎓

You did it! Congratulations to our promoting 5th graders! We got to celebrate them yesterday with a beautiful ceremony where one of their own, Tou Xiong, got to speak. Right after, Coach Watkins from Monroe Demonstration Academy gave a compelling speech to our 5th graders on the importance of staying focused and prioritizing their learning when moving up to middle school. Afterward, Ms. Roode walked everyone down memory lane from this year all the way back to when our 5th graders were little. Cake was had after, where families and scholars got to chat and take photos to commemorate this milestone.

🎓Pre-K & Kindergarten Promotion!🎓

It's finally here! 🥹 Our littles are growing! Yesterday, we celebrated our scholars in Pre-K and Kinder for promoting to the next grade up. They were all smiles during the ceremony. SO many families showed up for their little learners. We thank all of our families for making an appearance and supporting our scholars, whether they're yours or not. Every kiddo had applause when they were called up. Thank you so much! Congratulations, World Changers! 🎉
