Run for the Health of it!
Best read I’ve ever come across in holistic motivation to engage in running...
To Look and Feel Younger, Running Is the Real Miracle Drug You don’t need all-promising pills, diet hacks, or hours of tedious (and dubious) brain games. All it takes is doing that thing you love.
Fitness builds like compounding interest. A little frequently pays bigger dividends than a lot infrequently thus why avoiding injury is key.

WHAT IS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FITNESS AND GOD?
The first relationship I see between fitness and God is stated in the Bible. In 1 Corinthians 6:19, Paul talks about how our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Just like how I keep my house clean for my family, I want to make sure that my body is healthy and working for the Holy Spirit to reside in and use.
Another relationship I see, it that if my body is healthy and able God can use it to reach others, but if I do not keep my body healthy I will have more obstacles to tackle when I am serving Him and others.
Finally, working out is my time to process things with God. Whenever I get stressed out or overwhelmed, I go for a what I call a “Jesus run.” It pretty much just consists of me running, listening to worship music, and talking to God. It is incredible how more at peace I feel after a “Jesus run.”

Exercise not only changes our BODY,
It changes our MIND, our ATTITUDE, and our MOOD!
The PURPOSE of a WARMUP is to PREPARE for EXERCISE, and PREVENT Injury.
The PURPOSE of a COOL-DOWN is to ENHANCE FLEXIBILITY, the range of movement in a joint, and PREVENT Injury.
"...Physical exercise is one avenue that is utilized to enable us to live dynamic and enjoyable lives. Exercise helps us maintain physical function, increase mental clarity, live with greater energy and discipline, and come into community with other individuals. Exercising provides us with the energy and vitality to be present in our daily lives so that we can be better friends, siblings, spouses, parents, and members of God’s Kingdom. Exercise is not the end all, be all in life, but it does enhance living in a way that is undeniably beneficial and enjoyable..."

"Fitness is not a metric of worth, but a lifestyle of preparing the body to elevate the mind and spirit to have greater capacities. God would still love me if I weighed three hundred pounds and was largely sedentary. However, since I love God, I want to improve my habits. Being a good steward of this body enables me to work harder on the passions God has given me. I am not dragged down by the limitations of my body or a lack of energy. Having a strong, fit body is not meant to be shown off. It is meant to be used to do God’s work and for His glory."

God is a good steward of our whole person!!!
We don't have to be fit to earn Love, because Love isn't Love if it has to be earned, rather we long to be fit as an expression of how much we are loved. God's Love allure's us to embrace our whole person, and experiencing the Joy that comes from that. Throughout our journey He draws us closer to Himself, and we share His Love with others.
