You know what I have bee wondering? Ok, let me start here. I have so many clients with kidney stones. And as we know kidney stones are really painful. Why do these people have this reoccurring issue?
In studying I can read something that perked my ears up.
Let me start by saying this… there is something called yourHPA axis. This is hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenal axis. Hypo is taking in information, sends this info to pituitary (and does much more), pituitary orchestrates all our hormones, lots of hormones, adrenals put out their hormones. I think thyroid is down stream, responding to all the above.
Back to kidney stones. One of the hormones that the thyroid does regulates calcium in the blood. What if that is disregulated and there is too much or wrong amounts in the blood stream?
60% of your blood goes through your kidneys every minute. So if there is too much , or too little, does this mean that stones develop????
Just thinking!! Namaste

I have had 3 unstressful days, and look, I can post!! I have been learning more and more that many of the symptoms of pain and dysfunction we have, come from unexpected sources.
It is so important to look for root causes of our pain. I have no idea when I took the BIG shift from rubbing a symptom to stepping back and viewing the big picture.
New learning....added to old learning. Toxicity plays an enormous role in our pain. And here's the deal. If anything is left long enough in the body it will expand, deepen, and basically start to create problem on top of problem.
A few of the common symptoms of, for example mold toxicity or heavy metal toxicity are, muscle weakness, aching, fatigue, irritability, aggression, hyperactivity, depression, immune suppression. These are some, not all by any means, the symptom list of toxicity.
This may be why a person chases their symptoms so much, or they reoccur. It is so hard to imagine that the basis of "my" problems could be coming from something I cannot see. We have to realize that toxins coming in to us in many ways;\
a few....household cleaning products, laundry detergent, makeup, water, our dinner plates and on and on. Mold is in old houses, come from leaks etc.
These are big enemies to our health. Get help, get tested, and start healing. After that we Bodywork practitioners can help your body to really let go of your pain patterns. Namaste
