What a first week! 💙 From welcoming our scholars back through the doors to seeing classrooms come alive with learning, joy, relationships, and routines—we are officially underway!

Today’s dismissal was slow, but safe — and we’re excited to share a BIG win: ZERO undeliverable bus riders! 🎉 That means we’re getting the safety piece down. Now, we’re focused on getting our accuracy to 100% and our speed up. 💪

To do this, we need your help! A few reminders:

➡️ Northbound ONLY on Peoria for both arrival and dismissal.

🏷️ Please pick up your car tag at arrival or during the day so we can fully implement our system and make dismissal faster.

🅿️ Want to walk your scholar into class? Park in the back field.

A quick reminder as we settle into our morning routines:
➡️ Front entrance: Drop-off only — enter northbound on Peoria.
🅿️ Back field: Parking + Enrollment Support + Car Tag Pickup (bring your ID!) Families who want to walk their scholar into the classroom should park in the back field.

🍎🦁 Our teachers are READY for our Legacy Lions!

During our Professional Development Institute, our educators spent time learning, growing, building their skills, and preparing to create rigorous, joyful classrooms for the year ahead.

And yes, we had some fun while learning too! 🎉 Just as we want our scholars to experience engaging, meaningful learning each day, our teachers leaned into collaboration, practice, laughter, and plenty of hands-on learning.

Now, they're putting that preparation into action, from practicing strong classroom routines to creating beautiful, welcoming spaces where scholars can learn and thrive. ✨📚

🎉🦁 What a way to kick off the 2026–2027 school year!

Yesterday, we welcomed 175+ scholars and their families to Tulsa Legacy for Back to School Night! We loved seeing so many returning Legacy families back in the building and welcoming new faces into our community.

A special thank you to OPAA!, Parent Child Center of Tulsa, Safe Schools, Morton Comprehensive Health Services, Walters Way Foundation, and DS Bus for joining us and providing our families with resources, food, materials, and information to help them start the school year strong.

It takes a village to support our scholars, and we're grateful for ours.

Tomorrow is the big night, and we can't wait to welcome our Legacy families as we get ready for an incredible 2026–2027 school year!

🌟 Returning families: Join us tomorrow between 4–7 PM to reconnect, meet our team, and get ready for the year ahead.

📚 Looking for a school for your scholar? There's still time to join the Legacy family! We are continuing to enroll scholars, including Pre-K and Kindergarten, where our strong early childhood program helps our youngest Legacy Lions build the academic and social foundations they need to thrive.

Join us to meet your teachers, get important information for the year, and get ready for an amazing start! 4:00PM-7:00PM.

🦁 4 DAYS until PK, Kindergarten & 5th Grade Orientation Day — Friday, August 14
Our PK, Kinder, and 5th Grade scholars get an early soft start to get familiar with their classrooms, teachers, and routines before everyone returns!

🏫 7 DAYS until the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL for PK–8th Grade — Monday, August 17!
