Since Fall 1997, I've been an Oklahoma state-certified math educator. I've taught math classes/courses for Union High School (Tulsa), Claremore High School, Mazie Elementary/Middle School, Bacone College (Muskogee), Tulsa Community College, Rogers State University, & University of Tulsa. I currently am a part-time teacher for Pathways Adult Learning Center in Tulsa, and I help run ACT Test Prep camps for Northeastern State University (& previously for Rogers State University). I've been a math/test prep tutor for Huntington Learning Center - Tulsa/Broken Arrow since 2004, and I have been a private math/test prep tutor since 1998. I also taught a couple of twice-a-week math classes for The Aspire Group, a homeschool co-op, during 2021-2022 school year. I was the Testing Center Specialist for Rogers State University from 2018-2021, and from 2013-2016 was the host of RSU Public TV's high school academic team game show, "I Want Answers!"
I am certified in all secondary math areas from Calculus/Statistics and below, but my preference is working with any math below Calculus, including elementary math as requested. I have tutored ACT Math/Science & SAT Math for numerous years and enjoy doing them. I'm familiar with many math learning programs, both textbook & online. I will travel to you for tutoring sessions or meet up at a convenient location. I have done virtual/online tutoring sessions before, but for math that is a challenge for both myself & the student, therefore I greatly prefer in-person tutoring.
