Happy Birthday, duh duh duh duh duh!
OK, so maybe it's NOT YOUR birthday... but it was mine on June 30, 2022! 59 trips around the sun! I officially started my final year before I hit the big 60 year mark! Wow... How'd I get so old so fast? This landmark in the timeline of my residence on the planet is enough to give me pause to consider some things... I mean... is it really, REALLY a "happy birthday"?
BLESSINGS... I've had way more than my share...
My God- He's blessed me with amazing grace, incredible mercy, unending love and hope that will not die... UNBELIEVABLE.
My Family- My wife, kids, grandkids, and amazing extended family... AMAZING.
My Friends- My growing up clan, school friends, church friends, sports friends, business friends... INCREDIBLE.
My Jobs- the churches I've served, the businesses I've built, and even those early "kid" jobs that helped shape me. AWESOME.
I could go on and list the way God has blessed me materially, https://www.synergizeme.net/happy-birthday-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-today-is-your-birthday/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost

A Conservative Response to The Emperor’s New Clothing Defenders A recent article by a progressive group attempts to “debunk Republican lies”… It’s amazing to me how simpleminded some of these people are. Here is my intelligent and informed response to their lunacy. The First statement and paragraph on each issue belong to the dorks writing the article. My response with facts and sources follow… their total shame and embarrassment should come after each of my rebuttals. My remarks are those in italics.
Obama has been the biggest spending President in history! FALSE. Year to year spending increases have been less than 1%. They’re also at their lowest rate of year to year increases since Eisenhower.
INTELLIGENT AND INFORMED REPUBLICAN RESPONSE- The first year of the Obama presidency, 2009, is the largest year in decades, with federal outlays totaling a whopping 25.2 percent of GDP. Since then, federal outlays relative to GDP have https://www.synergizeme.net/a-conservative-response-to-the-emperors-new-clothing-defenders/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost

Right Pay or Fair Pay? Honest issue for discussion...
Whether you agree or not, in America these factors typically affect how much money a person makes:
Education
Expertise/Knowledge
Level/Amount of Responsibility
Risk
Performance/Track Record/Reputation
Tenure
Status of Employment (owner/manager/employee)
With those in mind, how would you respond to these questions?
What other things should or do impact compensation for work?
Who should decide what is fair compensation? Government? Owner? Employee? https://www.synergizeme.net/right-pay-or-fair-pay/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost

The Secret to Success- Surprising Advice from Maya Angelou Mayo Angelou was more than a poet, more than a teacher or an author. Her insights on life, love and facing the challenges in life qualify her as oracle in her time. When we consider the great thinkers of the past, we often hear lofty challenges to self-sacrifice and reckless abandon. Their calls to action beckon us to risk all, give all in pursuit of our dreams. There are desperate, challenging times that ask this of each of us if we want to survive, or demand it of us if we expect to thrive. But it's not always Olympic grade challenges that we're called to face in the critical moments of life. Some days the problems are simply one day bigger, one month larger, or one year grander in their intensity. So how do you handle those challenges?
Each of us is on our own journey. Much of Maya Angelou's writings reflect this perspective. Based upon our position along the path of that https://www.synergizeme.net/the-secret-to-success-surprising-advice-from-maya-angelou/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost

Starting Over… Again We've all been there. We find ourselves at the same frustrating crossroad in life we've visited so many times before. Do any of these sound familiar?
"It's time to go back on that diet... again."
"I'm going to get up earlier and start exercising every day... again."
"It's time for me to turn off the TV and catch up on some reading... again."
"It's been so long since I've had a regular time of prayer and/or meditation. I'm going to start my day off from now on making that my priority... again."
"My life is such a cluttered mess! I've got to reorganize, de-clutter and re-order my life... again."
It seems most of us want those things for our lives that truly should be most important. We want to be healthy, we want a consistent sense of spirituality, we want our lives to purposeful and on track. Then why is it that we seem to spend so much of our time with our lives looking more like leaves on the business end of a leaf https://www.synergizeme.net/starting-over-again/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost

I’ll Never Do That Again
We've all uttered that phrase. It usually comes after a catastrophe, conflict or correction. Maybe you blew it on a project you volunteered to lead. I'LL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!
It could be that you decided it was time to reach an outstretched hand across the fence to make peace with someone you are at odds with, and not only did their dog bite you, the person bit you too. I'LL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!
You might have found yourself on the "rear end" of the butt chewing that took place with your supervisor, your spouse or your customer. You tried your best to please and to perform, but to no avail. I'LL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!
Trust me, I understand. No one likes to walk across the field where they've encountered land mines before. We get burnt, bruised and bullied until there is no fight left in us. It seems much easier to avoid the conflicts or evade the battle than to try again.
Failure is only the opportunity to begin https://www.synergizeme.net/ill-never-do-that-again/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost

Diamond Decisions… Decisions. You'll make roughly 600 decisions every day you decide to put your feet out on the floor. (That's one.) That totals over a quarter of a million decisions every year of your life. Some decisions in life are easier than others. Some we just make instinctively, others need more thought and consideration. We weigh what we like against what we need. We compare what is right to what is expedient. Leadership demands that we make decisions. Great means we make most of them right, and make the most of our wrong decisions.
Among the hardest of our decisions are those which will have a major impact on others. We wrestle with the consequences of our choices, and how they will impact those whom we lead, and those whose lives we touch. I still have so much to learn in making great decisions, but some consider some wisdom from minds greater than mine.

Iron Sharpens Iron- Tips For Building A Great Network The advice is as old as the ages... "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Proverbs 22:17
But how do you find the right person, or the right people that will sharpen you the most? It's not a simple or easy thing to build a team like this. It's just as challenging to keep it together. Here are a few tips to consider as you look for your "sharpening team". These aren't clever "knife sharpening" analogies, but simply practices that work.
Find people who are busy. People who are busy are busy for a reason. It's usually because they are in high demand for their skill, expertise or wisdom.
Build a diverse group; people who are diverse in age, occupation and perspectives on life. For this group to positively impact your life, avoid enlisting a team of individuals who are uniform or relatively similar to each other.
Choose people that are successful. There is no https://www.synergizeme.net/iron-sharpens-iron-tips-for-building-a-great-network/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost
