๐ŸŽ“ HONORING THE CLASS OF 2026 ๐ŸŽ“

Maria Williams is the daughter of Seth and Sandra Williams. She attends Victory Church. She served as secretary of the National Honor Society, was a member of Key Club and the theatre department, and was the Citadel co-leader of the Respect House. Maria also played volleyball and basketball and served as the basketball team manager. She plans to attend Tulsa Tech to pursue her cosmetology license and hopes to open her own aesthetics clinic one day.

โ€œEye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things God has prepared for those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9). Maria, God has a plan for your life! You are beautiful inside and out, and there is a reason for that. I have enjoyed watching you grow up. Your beautiful spirit and infectious joy have been a blessing to all. Go with God." โ€“ Ms. McClarty

Carina Vieira is the daughter of David and Elizabeth Vieira. She attends City Church. Carina has been involved in theatre, varsity cheer, worship team, and served as a Citadel leader. She has also been a member of the National Honor Society and Key Club. Carina has been selected for a second year to participate in The Discovery Awards and was recently named salutatorian of her graduating class. She will attend the University of Arkansas, majoring in journalism with a minor in political science. She plans to pursue broadcast journalism and later attend law school.

"Carina is a dedicated, driven, and deeply loving servant of God and leader among her peers. Itโ€™s been a privilege to have her leadership both in the classroom and on Worship Team as she models a Christ-centered posture of worship in her everyday choices, words, and habits. She has many gifts: a compelling writing voice, insightful thoughtfulness, a compassionate heart, a dramatic ability to bring huge characters to life on stage. In all of these and more, Iโ€™m proud of the way Carina continues to grow in a humble and gracious boldness to follow Godโ€™s calling in her life and live in a way that draws others to Godโ€™s glory and not her own." โ€“ Mrs. Drew

Lily Roberts is the daughter of Jeff and Laurel Roberts. She attends Crossroads Free Will Baptist Church. Lily has served as the Citadel co-leader of the Respect House and was a member of Heart2Heart and the National Honor Society. She played basketball and volleyball throughout high school. Lily will attend Tulsa Community College to study nursing.

"It has been such a joy to know Lily throughout her high school years. She is hardworking, dedicated, and caring. Lily is an incredible role model to the younger girls around her, and it has been so encouraging to see how intentionally she mentors them and brings them alongside her. I am excited to see all the amazing things she will accomplish after graduation. As she leaves Mingo Valley, I am praying for her, for the legacy she leaves behind for the younger girls, and for the impact she will continue to make on those around her in this next phase of life."

Our seniors have wrapped up their final week at MVC! ๐ŸŽ“

This week included Senior Capstone presentations, where students researched a current cultural issue, examined it through a Christian worldview, and presented solutions to a panel of judges. They also celebrated Senior Chapel, a Graduate Parade, and the start of their senior trip. We are so proud of their hard work and all theyโ€™ve accomplished. Graduation is next week! โœจ

Taryn Reed is the daughter of Terrance and Brandi Reed. She attends St. Matthewโ€™s Missionary Baptist Church. Taryn has participated in track, pom, the Nest, theatre, and the worship team. She also served as class secretary all four years of high school, was the Citadel co-leader of the Joyfulness House, and was an active member of Key Club and the National Honor Society, where she served as president. "Taryn is such a force of energyโ€”her joy for the Lord and for the life He has given her shines through in the way she embraces each moment. Whether taking on a mundane task with purposeful, joyful attention, investing time to ensure every girl in her Citadel house feels heard and cared for, or leading praise and worship in chapel, Taryn makes the most of every opportunity and brings others along with her. She truly embodies Psalm 118:24: โ€˜This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it!โ€™" โ€“ Ms. Bostrom
