Big announcement!
Effective August 31, 2026, I will be stepping down from my position as Executive Director at TGS. I have fully enjoyed the 16 ½ years serving in this capacity. I cannot adequately thank everyone who has contributed to the success of TGS since I “fell” into this role. We have navigated many challenging times and always came out stronger on the other side. To those individuals who participated in our programs, thank you for the joy and humor you’ve brought to the organization as you learned to master a challenging art form. To the staff who have given their time and talent to help make TGS what it is today, THANK YOU! You are the reason we have been able to flourish and expand our outreach. I hope you feel as much pride in your contribution as I do in each of you. To the Board of Directors, your unwavering support over the years has been appreciated more than can be expressed and was critical to our success.
I wish Kayla Ohlmer, MFA, much success as she accepts the role of Executive Director – she has a great team behind her and I am confident that TGS will continue to grow in a sustainable way under her leadership.
