Hands-on learning asks students to focus, stay curious, and work through challenging material in real time.
That kind of learning is valuable, and it takes support.
Research shows therapy dog visits can help lower student stress and reduce anxiety in children and teens. A school-based randomized study found that dog-assisted interventions led to significantly lower stress in students, measured through salivary cortisol, a biological marker of stress.
At Philosophy, we want students to have the tools they need to stay grounded, connected, and ready to learn.
We are raising funds to bring a therapy dog to Philosophy because calm support belongs in the school day.
Help us make it happen. 🐾

Brinlee made room for both.
School and rehearsals. Classwork and performances. A diploma and a dream big enough to take her to AMDA in New York City.
At Philosophy Academy, flexible scheduling helped her stay on track while pursuing the stage.
School and the stage.
Both.

At Philosophy Academy, students can take school seriously and still have room for the thing that makes them who they are.
For Calvin, that means time to ride, push limits, and keep moving forward in a way that is fully his.
Our NCAA-accredited curriculum and flexible scheduling help students stay on track while making room for both.
School and the ride.
Both.

For Marlo, dance is not something she does when school is over.
It is hours in the studio. Rehearsals. Competition prep. Discipline. Growth. The thing that keeps calling her back.
At Philosophy Academy, flexible scheduling gives students room for both: a strong education and the passions that shape who they are becoming.
School and the studio.
Both.
