Our beautiful red doors reopen this Thursday for the 2026-2027 school year! We can’t wait to see old and new faces.

Student Orientation is next week and attendance is mandatory for all students! Middle School (Grades 6–8) will meet on Thursday, August 6, and High School (Grades 9–12) will meet on Friday, August 7. On your student's assigned day, please attend one of the following sessions: 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. or 2:30–4:30 p.m. We can't wait to welcome everyone back and kick off another great school year together!

¡La Orientación para Estudiantes es la próxima semana y la asistencia es obligatoria para todos los estudiantes! La Escuela Intermedia (6.º–8.º grado) tendrá orientación el jueves 6 de agosto y la Preparatoria (9.º–12.º grado) el viernes 7 de agosto. En el día correspondiente a su estudiante, asistan a una de las siguientes sesiones: 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. o 2:30–4:30 p.m. ¡Estamos muy emocionados de darles la bienvenida y comenzar juntos un excelente año escolar!

Our teachers and staff have been hard at work for the last two weeks for our third annual TSAS Summer Symposium.

Come see their individual research projects today from 11:30-1:00 at the school. We have snacks and the projects are fascinating and illuminating!

It might be hard to believe but school will be starting very soon! Here are the upcoming dates for orientation and the first day of school:
8/6 Middle School from 10:00-12:00 and 2:30-4:30
8/7 High School - 10:00-12:00 and 2:30-4:30

TSAS Summer Symposium 3 is underway!

25 faculty and staff began our annual two-week professional development intensive today where they will explore different facets of TSAS life in a cycle of research, relevance, and implementation.

Throwback Thursday to our trip to DC this past winter. We learned a lot during our short time there and found many schools doing similar work to us, which confirmed many things we do well and inspired us to grow more in other areas. Shout out to the DC Charter School Alliance!

One of the strengths of the DC public charter school community is its willingness to share, collaborate, and learn alongside educators from across the country.

Following the 2026 Diverse Charter Schools Coalition Conference, we were proud to help coordinate school visits for leaders from Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences. During their time in DC, they connected with and visited Monument Academy, Washington Global Public Charter School, and Sojourner Truth Montessori Public Charter School to exchange ideas, explore innovative practices, and build relationships across the charter school community.

Thank you to the school leaders and staff who helped make these meaningful connections possible.

Seniors, diplomas can be picked up starting tomorrow!

Office hours through June are 9AM-1PM, Monday - Thursday. The building will be closed in July.

Please note that all fees, books and technology (including lunch fees, library books, textbooks, Chromebooks and chargers, etc.) must be paid for/returned before you can pick up a diploma.
