Big day for Nana's Love and Learning
I have my first inspection for my second star. This is quite the big deal for Nana’s Love and Learning.

The star state agent will come in and verify that i'm doing everything that I claim to be doing right down to the learning activities and the times that Im doing those.

Unlike the traditional star for reviews that you would give a restaurant or a business, daycare stars are so much more.

They don't come off of reviews these come off qualifications, education that you've completed, curricnulum that you have set up for your students, and how you interact with children that aren't having the best day.

After many years in the corporate world, I made the decision to retire and follow my heart. The biggest reason was seeing how hard families work just to afford childcare. As a grandmother, I know children deserve a safe, loving place to learn and grow, and I also know parents shouldn't have to feel like they're paying a second mortgage just to go to work.

That's why I opened my home to care for children. My goal is simple—to provide affordable, high-quality childcare in a warm, family-like environment where every child feels loved, valued, and cared for.

I don't believe in charging application fees, waiting list fees, or yearly enrollment fees. Families already have enough on their plates, and I don't want to add to that burden. I want to make quality childcare accessible without all the extra costs.

When your child is with me, they're not just another number in a classroom. They'll receive one-on-one attention, lots of encouragement, and the opportunity to learn, play, and build friendships with other children in a safe and nurturing home.

When you leave your child with me, I want you to have peace of mind knowing they're being cared for the same way I'd care for my own grandchildren—with patience, kindness, love, and plenty of hugs.
