Chemistry has never tasted so sweet! Students explored supersaturation by heating milk, butter, cocoa powder, and plenty of sugar until the ingredients dissolved. As the mixture cooled, their experiment transformed into delicious homemade fudge.

Happy International Dot Day! A little dot can make a BIG difference! ⚫️✨

P3 students celebrated the idea that a simple dot can be the beginning of something AMAZING! ✨

After reading The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, P3 artists explored what happens when they simply make a mark. They experimented with paint sticks, creating dots of all different sizes, shapes, and designs, and most importantly, having FUN creating! 🎨

Students are learning that there is no “right” way to make art. They can be brave, try something new, and see where their creativity takes them. 💕

Metro's High School Advisory and Middle School Tribes groups are stepping up this year and partnering with the Metro | McLain • This Is Us program to pack weekly snack bags for McLain students. Each week, volunteers distribute over 75 bags to students who need extra support over the weekend. Volunteers at This Is Us use these bags to open the door to connection ~ checking in, sharing a hug, and reminding students they are seen, valued, and not alone.

Metro Christian Academy, a private Christian School located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, seeks a seasonal Activity Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school-related events and activities.

This is a seasonal position, August-May, with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, depending on school events and activities.
Requirements

To be considered, candidate must have a minimum of one year of bus driving experience, preferred, a valid Commercial Driver's License with a Passenger endorsement, required, and the ability to pass a Department of Labor medical physical.
