This simple math problem has the social media streets in a hot debate.

And yes, it’s simple.

That’s when simple gets complicated.

That’s when fear and anxiety begans to surface.

This is when how and where you grew up and your exposure to math and science begins to matter a whole lot.

You do not have to be a mathematical genius to become a nurse.

But you do have to be able to calculate dosages safely and accurately.

That is why I’m building Dose Calc App.

We are building a platform for nursing students, nurses instructors, and nurses to help them master this skill.

As we go into beta we are excited to support nursing students, nursing instructors, and nurses all over the globe to build a better and safer future for us all.

The global Microsoft outage has been a doozy.

It’s not just affecting nurses but patients too.

This is why the work we do is so important.

Because wether the computers are up or down or the systems are online or offline, patients deserve to get their medications.

And they deserve to get the right dose.

My goal is to educate and elevate students and nurses so that they have the skills to always give the right dose.

Shout out to the 100 students who spent their Friday night with me learning to do just that.
