The theme for yesterdays session was ReWilding!
The first step in that process is taking off our shoes 🦶
Did you know that most of the kids in the public school system get less than 30 minutes of unstructured free time during their school day.
If you know anything about children development, a seven year old is not really learning sitting in a desk for eight hours listening to projections of fear and the ideologies of the adults around them. They learn on the playground! From being Wild! The environment is our greatest master, a good teacher knows when to get out of the way. I have loved working with this group, excited for a very special final session next week.

We had a great session yesterday on Riverside.
led us through some story time adventures!
We traveled deep into the jungle, embodying some of our favorite animals along the way. We even learned the very special Rain Forest breath 🌬

Grounding is noticing the physical contact our body has with things, including things we touch or how we are standing or sitting. Grounding can be a very helpful tool for calming the body and mind. Typically, we have already unconsciously developed a number of grounding techniques that help us feel relaxed, secure, and safe.

One of the pillars of the Peaceful Warrior Projects is our community events.

We do hard things together, challenge ourselves and grow as a community. When you sign up for our classes it’s not just for the kids. Family engagement is paramount in the course. We have weekly home practice activities to reinforce and engage the parents in the SEE Learning skills and concepts from class.

Our age 7-11 classes start on March 21st. Register your family now!

Peaceful Warriors is about building Resilience, Compassion, and Awareness in every step we take.

My first real spiritual practice is my practice and art of parkour.
Parkour is the art of knowing yourself better. Facing your fears, knowing them, befriending them, laughing with them, kissing them on the forehead and holding them close.
If you do this consistently you will build Resilience.

Parkour is an open mindset gateway drug!

It has lead me to so many other wonderful growth practices and the Tulsa community thrives on this growth mindset ethos.

I am so grateful and inspired by my community here in Tulsa. There are many Peaceful Warrior Projects in the works and the Peaceful Warrior team is excited to share our passions with you.

SEE Learning is the science of compassion, the cultivation of awareness, the tools of engagement.

Social, Emotional, and Ethical (SEE) Learning is an innovative K-12 education program developed by Emory University. It represents the state of the art in education by enhancing SEL programming with key additional components, including:
- attention training
- compassion and ethical discernment
-systems thinking
- resilience and trauma-informed practice

The Peaceful Warriors use the SEE Learning curriculum as a foundation for developing movement skills, music and arts, and adventure training.

Enrollment is now open for spring classes.

The Hip Hop Dance Off was a blast! It was such a joy to watch Bodhi and Levi display so much courage and openness in their 1 v 1 dance battle.
Looking forward to getting another dance event on calendar soon.
