Education through the Arts

Ben Jammin is available for tutoring your child with their homework - OR to help round-out their school academics by adding 4 to 10 hours a month of performing arts and letters education to their syllabus.

Parents and students can personalize their own course of study with a variety of educational activities, including: writing, speech forensics, conflict-resolution, singing, acting, cooking, culture, AND world history through the lens of musical-theatre.

OR participants can choose to enroll for one of our 8-week Stand-Up Comedy & Improv courses. Class space is limited to six. Due to the nature of live-performance, masks will not be required for this offering, however hand-sanitation and social-distancing will be observed.

Tuition for the Stand-Up Comedy course is on a sliding-scale.

Enroll today for Ben Jammin Homeschool Academy's latest comedy-course, Christmas Stories – A Holiday Medley. Since this is a multi-generational offering, parents are also welcome to register themselves and/or kids to partake in the mirth!

We have been blessed to have access to 5 and 1/2 acres of woodland where classes can be safely taught in the great outdoors. Meetings will be in "the Glen". Mask required for drop-off/pick-up. Social distancing and hand-sanitizing will be observed. Small and will be held at a private residence – near Temple Beth El in Capitola.

For seven weeks, parents and children rehearse holiday-themed comedic-monologues or write their own – as well as will collectively sing silly carols AND participate in our 'reader's-theater style' tribute of, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

This offering begins on November 6th from 3:30-5:00 and finishes on December 18th (one week before Christmas). Tuition is $150 and family discounts are available!

If you have friends or family members who would benefit from performing arts education, have them join us this Friday for some low-key, socially distanced fun!
