We've had a great time celebrating the staff for Teacher Appreciation Week, but we also cannot pass up the chance to say Congratulations to Ms Nia who graduated this week with her Certificate of Mastery in Early Childhood Development. Nia is our Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher and has been at Little GuRus since the beginning. These were some of her very first students and now they are a part of her family forever! Congratulations Quinia... we are all so proud of your hard work and dedication.

Right now access to quality childcare is under attack... whether it's due to inadequate or restricted funding, over-regulation, industry burnout or business scale backs. But despite all of that, they are the heart of the matter. At Little GuRus STEAM Academy, we show up to give 100% to those that matter most. And we'll continue to do so Every. Single. Day. Because here is where children play to learn and learn to play

We didn't know we were making memories...We just thought we were having fun!

Some amazing things are happening this month at Little GuRus. They children learned about Community Helpers and the lessons really came to life with Touch-a-Truck demonstrations from the City of Tulsa Police and Fire Depts, a garbage truck from National Waste, and EMSA services (the excavator was an unplanned but welcomed surprise!). We appreciate these first responders and service members making time to come play and learn with us! The kids will remember these moments for many years to come! It may be hot outside, but this was so COOL!! Thank You Tulsa Community Helpers! 🚨🔥🏥🗑

Don't blink! 👀 Little GuRus turned 2... that was fast and we had a blast celebrating our birthday at Wheels and Thrills!

We honor the past. We celebrate. We include. We are diverse and we are kind. Happy Juneteenth!

Every Mother needs an Other to help them be the best Mom they can be. Today we held a Tea Party breakfast in celebration of all the Mothers and the Others (Aunts, Grandmas, etc) that help to raise their little ones. We hope your Mother's/Others Day is as sweet as the treats you enjoyed this morning!
