Chris McNeil Union School Board

Chris McNeil Union School Board Chris McNeil is the current School Board Representative for the Union District Zone 2. Jessica was born in Broken Arrow and is a Union Lifer.

Dr. Chris McNeil was appointed to the Union School Board in 2021 and currently holds the Zone 2 seat. McNeil has proven to be an asset to the board and the best option to fulfill another 5 years with a focus on direct mentorship, improved representation, intentional student enrichment activities/programs, and increased access to health career pathways for students. Known to most of his students as Coach McNeil, Chris helped coach the Union Varsity wrestling program from 2013-2016. Chris also enjoys volunteering in classrooms throughout the district to peak students' interests and growth in health literacy, showcasing his passion for science, health, and medicine. In the community, Chris finds great joy in volunteering at Iron Gate, Brightspot Mobile, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and while also mentoring young aspiring physicians through Black Men in White Coats. Chris and his wife Jessica have been married for almost 9 years after meeting at Oklahoma State University in 2010. At OSU, Chris obtained his Bachelors in Biology, Microbiology and a minor in Psychology (2012), and his Masters in Business Entrepreneurship (2013). In May 2021, Chris graduated with his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from OSU-CHS. They have two children, Moses (4), a PreK student at Union, and Madison (3). She and her parents have been residents of the Zone 2 neighborhood for 30 years. The McNeil family are members of LifeChurch Broken Arrow and consistent supporters of Athletes in Action (a CRU ministry).

Dr. Pete's Immersion Camp is a robust interactive experience allowing a select amount of high school students to develop their passion for medicine. Participants will be housed in the OSU dorms.

So thankful for the solid foundation of Staff and Educators in our district getting us all through this week and so frustrated to see more schools getting constant distractions from the political nonsense…For what it’s worth please rest assured that our law enforcement agencies are doing their best to keep everyone safe in this process as our district works hand in hand with their expert recommendations to keep schools open! Increased security overnight and measures are being made across the district to tighten the security Mr. Wardlow and his team already do an amazing job at. Multiple sweeps have been performed of Ochoa and the FBI is also involved as well. Please reach out with any questions or concerns that we can help clarify as information becomes more available!

Times like these really are powerful moments for the community to come together, whether reassuring a neighbor or simply making sure the doors to a building close behind you so everyone is check in through the main office. Everyone is working around the clock to make sure our greatest assets are protected as they learn and grow.

Join us for a three-day, robust interactive experience on our campuses learning and working alongside current OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine students. This is a great experience for students who think they may have a future career in the healthcare field. Housing and transportation will be taken care of for camp participants.
