Contemplating again… 🤔 💭 🕰️ about all the connections to the number twelve 12

What might the various connections mean? I’ve been noticing the commonality and connection between things in regards to the number twelve!

So why do we need to pay attention to the number twelve and why and how music, the cosmos, the clock, etc all seem to fit together?

I was reflecting upon the things in nature that put me in a state of awe, and how many miracles and blessings surround us from the biggest to the smallest and how we could be so important an nothing all at once!

While studying 📚 and looking for Truth wherever I could find it and continuing to do so… searching and researching 📚 🔍 👀 I was studying the Nag Hammadi scriptures and comparing and contrasting them with Canonized scriptures and questioning, 🤨 asking, myself 🤔 💭 are these teaching opposing one another or complementing one another?

“Light Beyond the Veil (One Voice Within)” came about as I was up late one night pondering about “the Nativity Star” along with the ongoing battle/debate between science and religion and how we can con to understand what can be scientifically explained as to why the phenomenal “Nativity Star” appeared but yet we have scriptural evidence to look at as well and how honestly, in my opinion, they’re not really at odds with one another as much as I see that they complement each other!

These next three also, are sort of companion songs simply because they’re all based upon explanations of some of my artwork!

This next song 🎶 was inspired by talking with a friend of mine who’s also dealing with Cancer…

We found that in dealing with our health challenges that we shared some feelings about ourselves and our relationships to God seemed to be placed in check, even some feeling of being condemned on earth 🌎 were some feelings dealt with and in all my study 📚 of music 🎼 theory taught me how certain music is!

I noticed how “I AM” = certainty, but how “am I? = lack of certainty

There’s a well known song 🎶 within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints entitled “I am a child of God!” but notice the change of impact it has if we just inverted the title to ask, “Am I a child of God?”

WOW! 😮 what a difference?

Between the conversation with my friend and the contemplation between “I AM & am I?” I was able to come up with this song! 🎶

“Sit With Me” is a very special song to me because it shares my own personal experience of transitioning my thoughts and emotions from envisioning being judged harshly upon final judgment - standing in front of God with my head bowed in shame for all the disappointments within my life… to a warm comforting feeling of peace and hope that occurred to me as a parent of four children, thinking as a father, that I have no desire to rub my children’s face in the dirt for their mistakes, although as parents we do desire that they learn from them… but actually find a tremendous amount of joy, love and gratitude for opportunities to have them come sit with me and share with me their experiences from their days and to tell me what they learned!

So too, it is with our Heavenly Father, who wants us to learn from our earthly journeys and to grow and share with him what we’ve learned in our processes!

This next song I wrote when I was visiting with my 9 year old son after school 🏫 one day!

I asked him about his music class and how musical letters did he know about in his music studies?

He started naming the letters based on the lines and spaces on the musical staff 🎼 and began to sing a tune that he’d learned to be able to remember them and their order… so I found my self astonished 😯 thinking 🤔💭 🎼 “how brilliant! Teachers 👩🏼‍🏫 using music 🎶 to learn about music! 🎼 mind blowing! 🤯

This song is dedicated to my 9 year old son as well as my 21 year old son who’s been able to attend college because of his hard work an dedication to learning music and being awarded scholarships for his hard work! 😓 it’s paying off! 👨🏼‍🎓 🎼

When I was a teenager, my brother, Joel shared some life-lesson advice with me as it follows…

He said, “Jon, before you get married, ask yourself one thing!”

I replied, “is it wether or not I love the person or not?”

He said, “No, you can always learn to love someone, but ask yourself if they speed you up or slow you down?”

I always kept that in mind, and once I found who God had prepared my eternal companion for me and asked her to marry me, I discovered something over the many years of marriage and raising children together… so as my own children have approached adulthood, and contemplated marriage, I’ve offered them the same advice, but amended it with my own learning experiences, and it goes as follows…

“Don’t only ask yourself if they speed you up or slow you down(?), but be sure to include this very important amendment… does your potential spouse speed you up when you’re going too slow and slow you down when you’re going too fast?”

In other words, can you envision them as bringing balance to your life?

This song is specifically written for my wife who does both, to speed me up as well as to slow me down! 😍 👰🏼‍♀️ 💍 ⚖️
