This week we decided to have a little competition to motivate some kiddos and boy did it work! 🤩
We are hosting a clinic speech competition for the month of October to see who can achieve the most CORRECT repetitions of their speech targets in a session! The words, levels of complexity, and prompting all varied, but what we saw consistently was hard working kids!
1626 total CORRECT productions.
We had a few kids even following us out of the treatment room repeating words trying to get more reps.
We are so proud of them!

Happy first day of fall!🍁🍂 we celebrated by breaking out some of our favorite Halloween activities!

Trying out our new switch adapted ball launcher! This cause and effect toy will be so fun for some of our kids who present with fine and gross motor challenges. We will be able to target all kinds of action language and let the child have independence and control of the toy. We’re so excited to use it in therapy!

Our new ✨lobby decor✨
Starting speech and language therapy can be scary and overwhelming for families. We hear questions like, “Is it something I did or didn’t do?” “Will my child ever speak?”
We’re here to help guide you, ease some of your worries, and provide supports! Together we’ll work toward identifying your child’s strengths and utilize their interests to help support communication development.
Let’s shift our mindset and ask ourselves, “What’s the best that could happen?”

Come with me to make an apple picking themed sensory bin! 🍎 We’re channeling all the fall vibes even though it’s still triple digits in Oklahoma... We reuse so many of our mini objects every year, but we’ve never done an apple bin. I’ll be able to reuse these objects in other ways to create new themes later on!!

While practicing our speech sounds and playing our favorite game “Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel” our real speech squirrel stopped by. We offered him our acorn game pieces and said hello!
