✈️🚀 FLYDAY: Future Engineers Take Flight was a soaring success! 🚀✈️

A huge thank you to Wade Burfitt and Paul Caccia for leading such an exciting and educational day for our kiddos!

Our future engineers spent the day exploring the science behind flight and discovering what it takes to make things fly! They experimented with buoyancy using balloons, raced balloon rockets to learn about thrust, and built and flew rubber-band airplanes while exploring lift and how different parts of an aircraft work.

It was a fun-filled day of hands-on experiments, building, testing, flying, and learning—all while our future engineers took their imaginations to new heights! 🌟✈️

Each Friday is packed with hands-on learning, creativity, exploration, and unforgettable experiences designed especially for homeschool students ages 5–11!

🌱 Gardening Camp
Dig in for a hands-on day of planting, exploring, experimenting, and discovering the amazing world of plants and gardening!

🎨 Wild About Art!
Get creative with color, texture, and collage during an Eric Carle-inspired art adventure where kids will create their own one-of-a-kind masterpieces!

🏴‍☠️ Pirate Adventure
Set sail for a day filled with treasure hunts, maps, clues, STEM challenges, teamwork, and pirate-themed fun!

🍎 Johnny Appleseed STEM Day
Celebrate the beginning of fall with apple-themed science experiments, engineering challenges, hands-on investigations, and plenty of STEM fun!

✨ Enrichment Fridays are open to ALL homeschool families—you do not have to be enrolled at Flourish Academy to attend!

What a fantastic (and HOT! ☀️🥵) day at Camp Flourish! 🌿🏕️

Our campers had an adventure-filled day with nature scavenger hunts, using their foraging skills to create picture frames, playing camping games, and, of course, enjoying delicious s’mores! 🔥🍫

Along the way, our campers earned badges for working together, making new friends, and becoming an official Camp Flourish Camper! 🏅💚

We are so proud of all the fun, teamwork, creativity, and friendship we saw today! What a wonderful day at Camp Flourish! 🌲✨

Get ready for a harvest of hands-on fun at Johnny Appleseed STEM Day! Join us for a fall-inspired day filled with science experiments, engineering challenges, apple investigations, and plenty of opportunities to explore, build, and discover!

Designed for homeschool students ages 5–11, Johnny Appleseed STEM Day combines science, math, engineering, history, and creativity into one exciting Enrichment Friday. Kids will learn about Johnny Appleseed and the world of apples while putting their STEM skills to work through hands-on challenges and experiments!

Throughout the day, students will:
🍎 Learn about Johnny Appleseed and his adventures
🌳 Explore the life cycle of an apple tree
🔎 Investigate and dissect real apples
🧪 Conduct apple-themed science experiments
⚖️ Measure, weigh, compare, and sort apples
🏗️ Complete apple stacking and engineering challenges

Get ready to paint, cut, layer, and create at Wild About Art! Join us for a colorful day inspired by the incredible collage artwork of beloved artist and author Eric Carle!

Designed for homeschool students ages 5–11, Wild About Art! gives children the chance to experience the creative process of a real artist and illustrator. Students will experiment with color, create their own textured papers, plan an original creature, and transform their ideas into a one-of-a-kind collage masterpiece!

Throughout the day, young artists will:
🎨 Discover the colorful collage style of Eric Carle
🌈 Experiment with color mixing, tints, and shades
🖌️ Create textured papers using fun and unusual art tools
✏️ Sketch and plan their own animal or imaginary creature
✂️ Cut and layer shapes to bring their creation to life

Ahoy, mateys! Get ready to set sail for Pirate Adventure—a day filled with treasure, teamwork, mystery, and discovery!

Designed for homeschool students ages 5–11, Pirate Adventure transforms an ordinary Friday into an exciting journey on the high seas where young pirates will solve clues, tackle challenges, create, explore, and work together as a crew!

Throughout the day, pirates will:

Get ready to dig in, get your hands dirty, and discover the amazing world of plants at Gardening Camp!

Designed for homeschool students ages 5–11, Gardening Camp is a hands-on day filled with planting, exploring, experimenting, creating, and plenty of outdoor fun! Our junior gardeners will discover how plants grow, what they need to thrive, and just how much is happening beneath the soil.

Throughout the day, gardeners will:
🌱 Plant seeds and learn how to care for them
🪴 Dig in and participate in hands-on gardening activities
🌻 Explore the parts of a plant and how they work
🔎 Discover what plants need to grow and thrive
🧪 Complete garden-themed science experiments and STEM challenges
