Phil recently met with Krystle and Beth representing Team P3 as we finalized race details and made sure everything was ready for race day. We left that conversation remembering the heart behind why we do this each year.

We’re less than two weeks from the 4th Annual FIT Beyond Color Run & 5K, and there is still time for local businesses and community members to sponsor or support the race.

This is why we run.

When you see Team P3 and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital listed as beneficiaries of the FIT Beyond Color Run & 5K, they are more than names on a flyer.

There are real families, real stories, and real communities behind them.

Paisley was treated at St. Jude after being diagnosed with ATRT as a toddler. Her story is part of the St. Jude experience, and Team P3 continues to show up in her honor.

These photos capture some of that love in action: her mom, dad, siblings, family, friends, and Team P3 showing up together at the FIT Beyond Color Run.

And they show up with joy.

They run. They laugh. They dress up. They get covered in color. They bring their families. They make memories.

All while supporting something that matters deeply.

🏀 “What separates good athletes from great athletes is the work that no one sees.”

That’s exactly what we focused on with the East Middle School basketball team.

Through Jalen’s program, athletes worked through a series of drills and performance tests designed to help prepare them for the upcoming basketball season. Each exercise was selected to improve speed, agility, explosive power, and overall athletic performance based on each athlete’s current abilities and goals.

The work that happens before the season begins lays the foundation for the moments everyone will see on the court.

This is the first post in our East Middle School series. Stay tuned as we take you behind the scenes and share more of the testing, training, and techniques that are helping these athletes prepare for a successful season.
