Allison Jacocks – Algebra II (H)
My 1st period student of the week is Allison Jacocks. Allison is a great student. She is attentive, asks and answers questions, always has her work completed and turns it in, and also scores very well on tests.

Isaac Freeman - Geometry
Isaac shows great effort, attitude, and perseverance every day. These traits and many more have made him successful in the classroom and will continue to do so wherever possible. He is passionate about his education and finding success, and I am lucky to be able to start my day with him.

Narissa Steverson - Geometry
I nominate Narissa Steverson as my first block geometry student of the week. She has perfect attendance and a very high grade in this class. Narissa does everything that is asked and goes beyond to do her best. She is kind to classmates and works really well with any partner that she gets assigned to. I think she is a well-deserving math student of the week!

Mr. Dodson's Physical Science Class recently used an Egg Drop Engineering Competition to learn about forces.

Mrs. Bounds's Physical Science Classes were building solar ovens that trap the Sun's Energy like a super Greenhouse. Students experienced this lab by cooking s'mores.

Our Foreign Language Department is excited to share these 2 students as their Student's of the Month:
Katie Grace Nichols (11th) - Katie Grace is an exceptional student. I can always count on her to participate in class and be prepared with her work. She goes above and beyond with her projects from bringing in props for a group skit to having the most informative and well researched Hispanic Heritage Month Project.
Anna Milhahn (11th) - Anna is one of the kindest and most thoughtful students I have. She pays attention in class, is prepared, not afraid to ask questions, and contributes her cultural knowledge to class conversations.
