After three incredible years, we'd like to thank Coach Nicholas Prater as he begins an exciting new chapter.

Since joining Portland Baseball Club in 2024, Nick has served as our Director of Youth Teams and Head Coach of our 14U program. His passion for teaching the game, commitment to player development, and ability to build meaningful relationships with players and families have left a lasting impact on our program.

Whether it was running practices, coaching tournaments, or mentoring young athletes, Nick represented everything we strive to be at PBC. His influence extends far beyond wins and losses, and we're grateful for the time, energy, and leadership he invested in our players.

As Nick and his fiancée head to Denver to begin their next adventure together, we want to thank him for everything he has done for Portland Baseball Club. We wish them both nothing but success and happiness in this exciting new chapter.

From player to coach, Nick came full circle with PBC and will always be a part of the PBC family. Thank you, Coach Nick.

Portland Baseball Club Fall Ball Registration is Open!

By the end of most fall leagues, players are worn out and families are ready for a break. That's why Portland Baseball Club Fall Ball is built differently.

Our 4-week season gives players exactly what they need—competitive game reps, quality instruction, and continued development—without dragging into late fall.

Starting after Labor Day, players compete in Sunday doubleheaders with optional midweek practices designed to keep improving before winter training begins. Perfect for multi sport fall athletes.

Congrats to PBC 18U Player of the Year - Roy Bannister. Roy led the team in most offensive categories including a .414 batting average, .543 OBP, .768 SLG, 41 hits with 15 doubles, 1 triple, and 6 home runs. He drove in 29 runs and scored 34 while stealing 9 bases.

Defensively, Roy was a lock down shortstop. He had a .900 fielding percentage and turned 13 double plays. He also contributed on the mound throwing 7 innings in relief giving up 10 hits, 3 earned runs and striking out 9.

Roy is an uncommitted class of 2027 at Corvallis HS.

Congrats to the PBC 18U Hitter of the Year - Ethan Baker. Ethan hit in the 5 hole all season picking up 22 RBI while hitting .370. He had a .904 OPS with 37 hits, 6 doubles, and 1 triple scoring 25 runs.

Ethan is an uncommitted class of 2027 grad at Barlow HS.

Great job this year Ethan!

Congrats to PBC 18U Pitcher of the year - Parker McCormack. Parker threw 40 innings with a 1.05 ERA and .900 WHIP. He struck out 26 walking over 7 and giving up 6 earned runs on 29 hits. Opponents hit .199 against him.

Parker is an uncommitted 2027 grad from Tualatin HS.

Congrats to PBC 16U Player of the Year - Duncan Hanna. Duncan was the Swiss Army knife of the team playing all over the field and pitching. He played outfield, second base, third base, and shortstop.

Offensively he hit .362 with a .605 OPS. He had 17 hits scoring 20 runs and stealing 16 bases. His 20 walks and 9 hit by pitches shows his ability to get on base!

Duncan was a consistent fireman on the mound appearing in 7 games as a reliever. He gave up 11 hits and 11 innings with 11 earned runs. Opponents hit .220 against him.

Congrats to PBC 16U Hitter of the Year - Harper Crowell. Hitting in the middle of the order while also holding down the catcher position, Harper hit .348 with 20 hits, 7 doubles, 1 triple, 19 RBI, 13 R, 12 walks, and only 5 strikeouts. Great job this year!

Congrats to PBC 16U Pitcher of the Year - Aiden Brown. Aiden was a reliable starting pitcher 5+ innings in 3 of his 5 starts. He threw 28 innings on the summer striking out 22 while giving up 19 earned runs. He saved his best outing for the last one going 6 innings giving up 4 hits, 0 earned runs with 5 strikeouts.

Congrats the PBC 15U Player of the Year - Sean Hausman. Sean took care of business as a hitter and pitcher. Offensively, Sean hit .509 with a 1.398 OPS. He had 29 hits, with 9 doubles, 2 triples, and 1 home run. He drove in 27 runs and scored 21 only striking out 4 times all season. He also added 10 stolen bases.

Sean pitched in 5 games for the 15U team as we was also a starting pitcher for the PBC 18U team. He threw 11.1 innings giving up 10 hits, 3 earned runs and struck out 16 batters. He had a .227 batting average against.
