There’s something special about celebrating and promoting our 8th grade class. Over the years, they have grown into a group of students who lead with kindness, encourage those around them, and reflect the character we hope to see in every Horizon student.

As they move on to high school, we celebrate not only their hard work and readiness for the next step, but also the way they have impacted our school community. They have been a class that serves, supports, and shines brightly wherever they go.

We are grateful to have been part of their journey and excited to see what God has in store for them next. The middle school team will miss them dearly, but we couldn't be more excited to watch them continue to grow and make a difference in the world.

What a great way to wrap up the school year! ☀️

Last week, our K-8 students spent the day celebrating with friends, making memories, and enjoying some friendly competition during Field Day. From co****le, kickball, frisbee, relays, races, and chalk art to a special visit from TVFR, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

More than the games, Field Day is about spending time together as a community and celebrating all that God has done throughout the school year. Thank you, students, for making this a year full of learning, laughter, friendships, and memories we won't soon forget!

Finishing the year strong, our 6th graders wrapped up their art class with an exciting art competition. Students created impressive negative and positive space cut-paper projects after learning about the artist Henri Matisse and the cut-paper artwork he created later in life.

From creativity to craftsmanship, students did an outstanding job bringing their designs to life. We love seeing learning and creativity come together in the classroom. Congratulations to our winners!

It was our honor to spend the evening celebrating all of your hard work, achievements, and the journey that brought you to this moment. We were grateful for the opportunity to encourage you, pray for you, and send you off as you step into your next chapter.

As you go out into the world, carry the lessons you've learned, the relationships you've built, and the light you've been given. May you lead with faith, serve with purpose, and make a difference wherever your path takes you.

🎓 What a special morning it was on Monday at Senior Tribute, honoring the accomplishments of the Class of 2026! Together with family, friends, teachers, and classmates, we recognized the hard work, growth, and achievements of this outstanding group of seniors.

Congratulations to our 2026 Salutatorian, Dani S., and our Valedictorians, Kylia D., Eliza F. and Nadeline K. We are grateful for the impact this class has made on our school community and loved celebrating this milestone alongside them!

A special thank you to Dr. Mozena for his talk on overcoming fear and the importance of stepping forward with courage. We are grateful for the message and the way it challenged and encouraged our students as they head into their next chapter!

As part of Servant Leadership Day, our 2nd graders created special cards filled with encouragement, love, and hope for children at Randall Children's Hospital! It's never too early to teach students the importance of caring for others and serving those in need. We hope these heartfelt messages bring a smile and a blessing to the children and families who receive them. We are proud of our young Hawks for putting their faith into action!

Color Wars 2026 brought the competition, creativity, and school spirit all day long! From painting, golf, archery, and go-karts to the barista challenge, music videos, and crowd-favorite lip sync performances, every class showed up ready to compete in just about every challenge imaginable.

One of the best parts of Color Wars is seeing students step up, represent their class, and come together as a team. With full school-wide participation and a tight race all the way through, the day was filled with nonstop energy, fierce competition, and unforgettable school spirit from start to finish.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 for coming out on top and taking home the trophy!

These seniors have left their mark on Horizon in so many meaningful ways, and we are incredibly thankful for the memories, friendships, leadership, and joy they’ve brought to our community over the years. It has been a privilege to watch them grow and step into who God created them to be.

As this chapter comes to a close, we’re praying for each of them as they begin the next one. We know God has great things ahead, and we are excited to see where life takes them and how they continue to impact the world around them. Congratulations, Hawks!!!
