Today, at Roosevelt Elementary the Master Food Preserver Program and CFHL collaborated in hosting a lesson on Preservation and Blending of Herbs for the Home Kitchen.
Parents created their own Taco and Ranch Mix to use at home.

Hoy, en la Escuela Primaria Roosevelt, el Programa de Master Food Preserver y CFHL colaboraron para una clase sobre conservación y mezcla de hierbas para la cocina casera. Los padres crearon su propia mezcla para tacos y ranch para usar en casa.

IMPORTANT UPDATE! As of 10/30/25, the Roosevelt food distribution in Tulare on November 18th, has now changed to 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. 🍎‼

Walk to School Day 2025 at Wilson

Our annual “Walk to School Day” was foggy and fun! Students got to enjoy a smoothie after their walk.

Choices After School students had the opportunity to test their garden soil for key nutrients and PH. Students shared their finding with each other. Students also learned about tools used to test the soil and careers available in the field.

Wilson’s Community School Advisory Council held its first meeting of the year, bringing together parents, community organizations, and school staff to plan a brighter future for our students! Way to go, Wilson Warriors!🙌🏼
