Dinuba FFA Chapter

Our officers had an amazing time at College of the Sequoias Tulare today! 🎃 We checked out their pumpkin harvest for our student projects and got a tour of the horticulture and livestock facilities. Huge thank you to Mr. Fernandez, the OH instructor at COS, for showing us around!

Get ready for our Barnival Chapter Meeting tomorrow at 4:00pm at our school barn! 🎃🍂

Come out and play various carnival games like Tug of War and Ring Toss and much more! As well as participating in our costume contest and earn an extra point for dressing up!

A few weeks ago, several Dinuba FFA members attended the Sequoia Olympics Sectional Activity in Tulare! All of our students had such a great time participating in various fun games as well as mingling with members all across the section! Thank you for putting on an outstanding activity.

Earlier this month, 23 of our Dinuba FFA members attended the Tulare County Fair! We want to highlight these students who dedicated countless hours of their time over the summer all the way to Fair! We are very proud of all of our students for all their hard work. We had various students placing in their respective classes. All of our students sold their animal and received very good prices. Additionally we want to highlight our steer group who spent an extended 11 months on their project! Ivan Alcalá even going on to win Reserve Grand Champion. Thank you for representing Dinuba FFA so well!

This past August was pretty eventful! 💙💛

- Our Dinuba FFA Officer team visited the middle school to introduce themselves, play games, and give out cupcakes to our middle schoolers! 🧁
- We had our first chapter meeting of the year during lunch, our Ice Cream Social. We hope everyone who came out enjoyed a nice sweet treat!🍦
- Our annual Pre-Fair chapter meeting took place! Thank you to all those who came out and supported our showmen. Thank you to all of our helpers as well who helped make Pre-Fair possible! 🐖
- Quick thank you to those who came out and helped out with Barn Clean Up as well! 🧹🐖

Raise a dog, change a life!
Meet our newest furry friend, Marco. Marco is a puppy in training and will become a service dog for someone who is visually impaired. Guide Dogs for the Blind is a non-profit organization that helps blind people increase their mobility.

Are you a current member and interested in raising a guide dog? Are you looking for SAE project ideas? Mrs. Wilterding is our advisor that oversees these guide dog projects, reach out to her or any of our advisors for more information. More information can also be found on .

This evening we celebrated the newly awarded Discovery Degree recipients at Washington Intermediate School. We recognized the students and parents in attendance and bestowed upon members their first degree recipients and Discover Degree pin. This degree is meant to honor 7th and 8th grade members and their activities. Our chapter is extremely proud of all of the individuals who earned their award and this milestone of their first FFA degree. A huge shoutout to Mrs. Browne who made a delicious cake to celebrate!
