Dear Summer School Students and Families,

We are excited to welcome students to Summer School beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17th at Mission Oak High School. Please review the important reminders below to ensure a smooth and successful first day.

🕢 Summer School Schedule: Summer school hours are 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM daily. Students should arrive on campus with enough time to report to class before the start of the school day. The Parking Lot Gate and the Gate by the Administration Office will open at 7:00 am every morning.

⚠️ First Day Attendance Reminder: Students who do not attend the first day of summer school (Wednesday, June 17th) will be dropped from summer school, and their space will be offered to another student currently on the waiting list.

📱 Digital IDs Required: All students attending summer school must have their Summer School Digital ID downloaded and ready to use. Digital ID invitations have already been sent to students enrolled in summer school. Please complete this process before the first day.

🚌 Bus Transportation: Summer School bus stops and pick-up/drop-off times. Please review the information carefully and make sure students arrive at their assigned stop early.

6:30 AM – Pixley -- Sheriff’s Substation
6:45 AM – Tipton Elementary -- Bus Area off of Evans Rd.
7:00 AM – Tulare Western H.S. -- Bus Circle on Maple Ave
7:05 AM – Tech Prep H.S. -- Bardsley Ave. and Pratt St.
7:10 AM – Tulare Union H.S. -- In front of gym on Kern

🚧 Construction Traffic Alert: Please be aware that there is currently construction taking place at the corner of Money Blvd. and Bardsley Ave. Traffic delays are expected during arrival and dismissal times. We encourage families to leave early and plan accordingly so students arrive on time, especially on the first day of summer school.

💻 Chromebooks Required: Students should bring their school-issued Chromebooks fully charged each day and bring their Chromebook charger to ensure they are prepared for instruction.

👕 Dress Code Reminder: Please remember that the school dress code will be enforced during summer school. Students should come dressed appropriately and in accordance with district expectations.

🍎 Meals Provided: Food will be provided to all students attending summer school during both the morning health break and lunch period.

📝 Students Requesting Enrollment on the First Day: Students who would like to request enrollment in summer school on the first day must arrive early (around 7:00 AM) and line up by grade level on the west side of Mission Oak’s gym. Staff will distribute numbers to students in the order they arrive, and students will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis within each grade level. Please note that arriving on the morning of the first day to request enrollment does not guarantee placement in summer school. Enrollment is based on space availability.

Starting Monday, June 15, the intersection at Inyo Avenue and O Street will become an all-way stop. Please slow down, stay alert, and use care as drivers get used to the change.

Here is our Summer and Fall Athletic information. Please remember that your student MUST have their physical completed and checked by the school nurse before they can participate. July 20th is the next date to clear physicals from 11am to 4pm.
