We are excited to announce a $1,500 Community Grant approved for the โ€œBorn to Stand Outโ€ Special Needs Livestock Show taking place on August 29, 2026! ๐ŸŒบ

This incredible event creates an opportunity for youth with special needs to experience the joy, confidence, and connection that comes through showing livestock in a supportive and encouraging environment.

The 2026 Sow the Seeds Scholarship program was one to remember! ๐ŸŒฑ

This year, 32 recipients received a total of $35,000 in scholarships to help start and support their livestock projects and continue growing their involvement in agriculture.

Students from VTEC FFA, Farmersville FFA, Exeter FFA, and Orosi FFA represented four different species including goats, hogs, lambs, and chickens. Itโ€™s inspiring to see these students gaining hands-on experience, building responsibility, and pursuing their passion for agriculture through their projects. ๐Ÿ’š

The Porterville Fair Junior Livestock Auction was an incredible success, we spent $23,000 purchasing hogs, lambs, rabbits, goats, turkeys, and beef cattle to help support youth exhibitors without buyers.๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ„๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‡

Watching our community rally behind these exhibitors is what makes fairs like this so meaningful. These projects represent months of dedication, responsibility, and hard work from local youth. A special thank you to John Dolislager at Tulare County Stockyard for his support of the foundation and these kids!

Happy World Milk Day! ๐Ÿฅ›

Milk is one of the most nutrient-rich foods in the world, providing essential nutrients like calcium, protein, potassium, and vitamins that help support strong bones, muscle growth, and overall health.

Dairy also plays an important role in communities across the globe, supporting farm families, local economies, and providing wholesome nutrition for millions of people every day.

Today, weโ€™re celebrating the farmers, animals, and hardworking people behind every glass of milk. ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ„
