BJTELA has been able to make improvements for the Tulalip Learning Journey website, age appropriate for everyone from babies on up. 💙

Attention all incoming 2021-2022 kindergarten families!

Next Wednesday our fabulous kindergarten teachers will be hosting a Kindergarten Orientation over Zoom. This will be an opportunity to:

1. learn all about kindergarten here at QCT,

2. ask our teachers and office staff questions about registration, and

3. sign up for an in-person family tour of our school and classrooms.

This is crucial to the amount of funding our region receives, and our count is currently low.

The 2020 U.S. Census is well underway. It's important for families in which we serve because federal spending programs rely on information derived from the census to guide the distribution of funds to states, counties, cities, and households. The funds help communities provide services, including those that benefit children, such as Head Start, special education, and after-school programs, school lunch assistance, children's health insurance, child care, and housing support.

This year, it has never been easier to respond to the census. It's something you can do in the safety of your home while practicing social distancing.

Parents and families can respond to the census by completing the questionnaire online, by phone, or by mail.

Reminder: The census questionnaire asks a few simple questions, like the age, s*x, and marital status of the people who live in your home, including newborns and non-relatives, as of April 1. The U.S. Census Bureau is required by law to protect any personal information collected and keep it strictly confidential.
