How have teachers impacted YOUR life? Legendary Teacher Day is coming up on September 24th, and there's a simple way to say thank you.

Legendary Teacher Day invites you to write a tribute to a teacher who made a lasting impact on your life, as a student, a parent, or a colleague. Share the story of what made them legendary, and your tribute could be featured on social media as a way of celebrating that teacher publicly.

It's a good moment to pause and recognize the educators who shaped us, in the classroom and beyond.

TVT is excited to announce that twelve outstanding PreK-12 educators from across Pima County have been selected as finalists for this year's E.L.E.V.A.T.E. Award, sponsored by Raytheon | An RTX Business.

Each of these teachers was nominated for the excellence, leadership, engagement, vision, achievement, transformation, and empowerment they bring to their classrooms and school communities every day.

Because of this community, the Light the Way campaign was a massive success for Southern Arizona's teachers. For every donation, share, and message of support: this campaign was possible because of you. And a special thank you to Tucson Electric Power for matching contributions up to $50,000, helping every gift go even further our teachers.

This isn't the finish line, though. We'll see you in November at Stand Up for Teachers!
