The official page of The University of Arizona Twirlers The Arizona football and basketball experiences are truly unique, energetic, and exciting.
The University of Arizona Twirling Team performs with the "Pride of Arizona" Marching Band at every home football game. Twirlers perform as one unit and are featured during both the pregame and halftime shows, allowing the team to shine in front of thousands of people. At basketball games, twirlers perform with the UA Pep Band individually and as a team during timeouts as well as halftime. The UA

Happy World Baton Twirling Day! Baton twirling has given us a lifetime of memories and opportunities. From the daily grind of practice to the rush of a competition, and the excitement of performing at Arizona Stadium, we're thankful for this sport's presence in our lives! ♥️💙

Happy Birthday to the one and only Shirlee! In 1954, she came from Detroit to Arizona to become the schools first ever feature twirler. She has went on to coach 72 years her with the Pride! Under her leadership she has empowered hundreds of twirlers. the Arizona Twirling Team and all of its successes is because of her. Shirlee’s dedication and commitment to the sport of baton has paved the way for future twirlers to have an amazing experience here at the University of Arizona! We love you Shirlee!♥️💙
