Congratulations to Jonathan Ochoa on becoming the Division V 400m State Champion! 🏆🏃‍♂️

Jonathan captured the state title with a winning time of 49.31 after posting a field-leading qualifying time of 49.22 — now the school record in the 400m.

Jonathan also holds the school record in the 200m and the second-fastest 800m time in school history. We are incredibly proud of Jonathan for representing St. Augustine with excellence both on and off the track!

We gathered together at St. Augustine Cathedral to celebrate this special milestone with our seniors, their families, faculty, and staff. Thank you to Bishop Misko and Fr. Manu for presiding over such a meaningful Mass as we honor the journey, achievements, and bright futures of the Class of 2026.

Congratulations to Abrielle Anchondo-Leyva on being selected for the University of Arizona BIO5 Institute’s Keep Engaging Youth in Science (KEYS) Research Internship 2026 cohort! 🎉🔬

Abrielle is one of just 60 students selected from more than 500 applicants across Arizona for this highly competitive program.

During the seven-week internship, she will work in the Human and Animal Bonds Lab, researching the impact of therapy animals and pets on the wellbeing of both humans and animals while receiving mentorship from university faculty, graduate students, and researchers.

We are incredibly proud of Abrielle and this outstanding accomplishment! 👏

This past Saturday, our seniors and their families gathered for Senior Breakfast as we celebrated the Class of 2026 and recognized students for their achievements in academics, athletics, leadership, faith, service, and the arts. We were also honored to award scholarships, including the Fonseca Scholarship, in support of our students’ futures.

A special thank you to CTSO for their continued generosity and support of our students through scholarships and opportunities that help them succeed beyond the classroom. Congratulations to all of our seniors and award recipients — we are so proud of you! 🎓🐺✨

Last week, we celebrated the incredible teachers and staff who make our school community bloom every day.

From flowers, fresh snacks, nachos, and our salsa showdown to movie night buckets on Friday. 🍿💐

On May 1st, our St. A’s community came together to celebrate Decision Day and recognize our seniors as they shared their plans for next year.

We are so proud of the Class of 2026 and excited to see where their next chapter takes them!

As we celebrated our final All School Mass of the school year, we were honored to have Bishop Misko officiate the Mass at St. Francis de Sales Church. Thank you, Bishop Misko, for sharing with our students what it means to serve as a bishop and for explaining the meaning and symbolism behind the sacred vestments and symbols of the ministry.

We are also grateful to Father Manu for blessing our sophomores with key rings and a special Drivers’ Blessing after Communion as they begin an exciting new chapter, learning to drive and growing in independence. May they continue to be guided with wisdom, responsibility, and faith on every road ahead.

On April 28, our student leaders traveled to San Carlos to deliver school supply bags and Bibles to the students at St. Charles Mission School 🤍

They met each student personally, offering supplies to support their learning and experiencing firsthand how something simple can make a real difference.

A day rooted in service, connection, and care for one another.
