Yesterday, kids had orange chicken on white rice, pineapple, veggies with ranch, and milk. The air conditioned bus runs year-round during breaks and when school is not in session to ensure kids have access to healthy meals.

Our Diploma Stuffer Program is a cherished tradition that connects elementary students from our feeder schools and our graduating seniors. The younger students write letters to our graduates offering congratulations, encouragement, and reminders to celebrate safely and make smart choices on graduation night. These heartfelt messages are presented to seniors alongside their diplomas. Thank you to our feeder elementary stchools for their hard work and dedication to this special program.

Uncovering the History of Marana Schools

In this year’s issue of the Horizon, the District's print magazine, we dug into the history of Marana Schools over the past 115 years. From scattered board-and-canvas classrooms serving railroad and farming communities, to the Marana High School we know it today opening in 1975 way off Emigh Road, to junior high students being the first class of students to enroll at Mountain View in the late 80s, our history highlights the good that can happen when communities support their local public K-12 schools. Take a minute to learn all about the history of and the community we call home!
