Homecoming Weekend is 23-25, 2026. For the last 10 years, Kappa Sigma has organized a golf tournament on the Friday morning of Homecoming. Before we sign the contract at Sewailo Golf Club we want to identify the interest in playing. This event raises money for the Barleycorn Scholarship Fund (a fallen police officer), the Greek Life Leadership Fund, and a Military Heroes charity. Please complete this short survey.

Spring break recap from the brothers of Kappa Sigma. 🆎

Photos from Gamma-Rho of Kappa Sigma's post 03/04/2026

On Monday we had brother Ryan Schneider '93, Co-Studio Head at Insomniac Games, attend chapter dinner, followed by a discussion about his career in game development and general career advice.

Brother Schneider shared key professional wisdom with the undergraduates and challenged us to “Always Be Growing,” reminding us that excellence lives in the details and that growth never stops. He shared the importance of taking risks and working for yourself and not for the expectations of others, and emphasized that good leadership starts with caring about your team and always showing them respect.

The undergraduate brothers are extremely greatful for the opportunity to connect with brother Schneider. AEKDB

We’re proud to say that this week one of our very own alumni, George Jensen, was inducted into the Order of Omega at the University of Arizona:

George Jenson’s lifelong commitment to leadership, mentorship, and service embodies the very spirit of fraternity life. Initiated into the Gamma-Rho Chapter of Kappa Sigma in 1982, George graduated from the University of Arizona in 1987 with a degree in Management Information Systems. As an undergraduate, he held leadership roles within the fraternity and served the broader campus community through ASUA Concerts and Spring Fling. From his earliest days as a member, George demonstrated a deep belief in Kappa Sigma’s mission of “Building Better Men.”

Professionally, George has built a diverse and impactful career as an entrepreneur, consultant, educator, and pilot. His work includes co-founding Fraternity Management Group, developing innovative software solutions, teaching real estate, and serving as a scuba instructor. His commitment to service extends internationally through volunteer work with Orphanage Outreach in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, as well as locally through board service with the Child Language Center and support for Pathways to Aviation. His contributions have earned him recognition as an Eller College Associate of the Year.

Within Kappa Sigma, George’s influence has been transformative. He has served as Advisor, House Director, House Corporation Board member, Educational Foundation Board member, and mentor to generations of students. His creation of the Excellence Quest platform revolutionized chapter accountability and member development. Honored with induction into the Gamma-Rho Hall of Fame and named Man of the Year, George’s legacy is one of selfless service, thoughtful leadership, and lifelong dedication to fraternity and community.
