👀🔭 Birds, bugs, and big discoveries!

Mr. Gossett's Jr. Explorers learned about biodiversity and why every species has a role to play. After mastering binoculars, they spotted Vermilion Flycatchers and discussed how changes to one species can impact an entire ecosystem. These young scientists are learning how to protect and appreciate the amazing biodiversity of the Sonoran Desert! 🌵🐦🌎

This week in Ms. Amarillas’ Reading Chefs class, campers enjoyed the story The Great Pasta Escape! 🍝📚

After following the pasta’s adventurous journey, our Reading Chefs put their creativity to work with fun literacy and cooking-themed activities. Stories always taste better when they come with a little imagination!

The lunch service time at Flowing Wells Junior High School has changed.

Beginning June 8:
🍽️ Lunch will be served from 11:50 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

All other Summer Food Service Program locations and times remain the same.

☀️🤠 Summer Camp Longhorn is in full swing, and the fun never stops!

Our campers are staying busy with hands-on building classes, relaxing yoga sessions, exciting literacy activities, and delicious cooking classes. Every day is filled with learning, creativity, movement, and smiles!

We love seeing our students explore new interests, make new friends, and create unforgettable summer memories. 💙💛
