We are incredibly proud of Onaida Barrios, Brianna Barrios, Gloria Bojorquez and Yadiel Sanchez. Thank you for your dedication, talent, and all the hard work you have poured into our music and community.
As you step into your next chapter, we wish you the absolute best of luck. Never forget that you always have a home here at Sunnyside!

Thank you for all the hard work, dedication, and the huge part you have played in Los Diablitos these past two years. You will all truly be missed.

What a whirlwind Wednesday for Mariachi Los Diablitos!
We started the day with a heart-warming performance for the SUSD Parents as Teachers graduation ceremony.
It was a true “full circle” moment for our very own Valentina and Regina—they actually graduated from this program years ago and returned today to perform as High School Freshmen! 🎓👏
Then, we were off to the University of Arizona for Mariachi Arizona’s Spring Recital at Crowder Hall. Such an inspiring day of music and community!

A huge shout-out and thank you to our Diablitos officers for being present to accept a generous donation from Vantage West Credit Union!
We are thrilled to share that this donation will benefit both the Desert View Mariachi program and Sunnyside High School. This support directly impacts our students’ opportunities to excel in the arts and beyond, strengthening the bond within the Sunnyside Unified School District.
Thank you, Vantage West, the Gabe Gallegos Foundation, and UPS for investing in our youth and our culture. And a special thanks to our student leaders for representing us so well!

Today our amazing Los Diablitos Seniors performed at their very last assembly. It’s been an incredible journey watching Yadiel Sanchez, Brianna Barrios, and Onaida Barrios grow into the leaders they are today. We’re also sending a huge shoutout to Gloria McIntire (who we missed in the photos today!).
We are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished. The future is yours, Class of 2026! 👹🎓❤️

Huge shout out to Manny Ponce, Director of Mariachi Pueblo Viejo, for taking time out of his busy schedule to help us fine-tune our set for the Tucson International Mariachi Showcase!
We are so lucky to have such incredible compañeros in this community. A special thank you to Alberto Ranjel, Manny Ponce, and my one and only my better half Julie Maldonado—I’m beyond grateful for your coaching, advice, and endless support.
