Across the Amphitheater District today, students marked Constitution Day by learning about the document that has shaped our nation for more than two centuries. From classroom discussions to hands-on activities, students explored the Constitution, its history and the role it plays in our democracy. 🇺🇸

Lulu Walker Elementary School students got a chance to taste a variety of fresh fruits and veggies at lunchtime as part of a program from SFE, our food service company, that brings new foods for students to try. Judging by the smiles, there were definitely some favorites!

Trying new foods is always more fun with friends.

Painted Sky Elementary School students recently practiced being scientists by studying trees, using leaf and bark rubbings to take a closer look at textures, patterns, and other details. Then, they put their observations into words, building Critical Thinking and Communication skills that are part of the Amphi Promise of a Graduate. Great scientists start by noticing, wondering and asking questions!

CTE at work: Our student officers in our Career and Technical Student Organizations came together Tuesday with their advisers at Amphi High School for the CTSO Retreat. Students learned leadership skills and learned how to run their meetings to make decisions aligned to CTE goals and outcomes. These leaders worked hard and learned a lot!
