School at the Park Day! Took advantage of the amazing (though slightly chilly) day and took our school and out roller blades to the park. We had so much fun learning about -time- 🕛 and how we track it, how it relates to the position of the sun, the seasons, the equinox/solstices, calendar months, and a.m. and p.m.

We were lucky enough to be at the park right at 12 noon so I could point out the sun ☀️at it's highest point in the day. It was so much lower in the sky than they expected instead of being right overhead. The joy of sharing this with Dad over the evening fire pit 🔥was 2 kids who asked for turns being lifted up so they could tilt themselves sideway like the earth does on it's axis lol! 🤗

I haven't been posting very much because my camera is on my phone and I have chosen this fall to disconnect from my phone when I am engaging with my kids. The downside is less pictures, but I'm still here and working on ways to share what we are doing more.
