🚨New Food Regulations for 26/27 School Year.🚨

As we start the 2026–2027 school year, we want to share an important update about food brought to school. Arizona schools must follow the new Arizona Healthy Schools Act (A.R.S. 15-242.01) and TUSD Nutrition Standards to help keep our students healthy.

If you plan to send food for birthdays, classroom celebrations, or snacks, please review the approved snack list below to make sure items meet the new guidelines.

We are excited to welcome back our returning students and families, as well as those who are new to the Bonillas community.

Tonight, Ms. Claudia Perez was officially appointed as the Interim Principal of Bonillas Traditional Elementary Magnet School for the upcoming school year. Ms. Perez brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and dedication to students and families, and we are excited to welcome her to the Bonillas community.

We’re excited to share a FREE Youth Summer Camp happening at Sabino High School this summer! The camp is open to all students entering K-8 grade and is a great opportunity for kids to stay active, have fun, and connect with others over the summer break.

Modified Drop Off

Hi Parents,

Today we have several events taking place on campus, which will require the back parking lot to be closed. Staff members will also be parking on the primary field to help accommodate the events.

Due to these adjustments, we will have a modified drop-off procedure tomorrow morning. All students will need to be dropped off at the front of the building. There will be no parking permitted in the back lot or dirt lot unless you are a Pre-K family.

Please do not park in the front of the school during drop-off. This will be a pull-up-and-go drop-off only. Families should remain in their vehicles, and our staff team will assist students with exiting safely.

Congratulations to Ms. Lynlee Stuart! She has earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from ASU! We are so proud of you! 🍎🎓️

Last week, our 4th grade Bonillas Beavers had the opportunity to visit Dodge Traditional Magnet Middle School. As the only pipeline school to Dodge, our students were able to see all the amazing opportunities that await them in the future.

A huge shout out to the Bulldog student tour guides and Principal Meneguin for the warm welcome and for making the visit such a great experience for our students 😁
