Tucson High School SENIOR Class of 2021

September 2020 meeting: Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 5:30 pm

This is kinda a last chance meeting. We really need officers-in-training or else we need to disband.

Are you interested in what a PTA could do these days? Join us! If there's enough interest, we can keep going.

Weather permitting, we'll meet at Himmel Park, near the big slide. If weather doesn't cooperate, we'll post a zoom link here.)

Hello wonderful Tucson High community! We need some HELP.

We'd love the PTA to continue to serve the Tucson Magnet High School community--especially now!--but we need some new members!

Here's the deal: We are actually considering dissolving the PTA. 😔 But we won't do it if there are enough people interested in keeping it going.

Why? The 2019/2020 officers have kept the PTA rolling for the past few years, but AZ PTA rules have term limits, and so we need to step down and pass the baton to the next generation.

Another reason is lack of paying dues members. (It's just $5.50 to be a new member.)

And finally, in recent years the PTA has had two main fundraisers / community service events:
(1) the monthly Market-on-the-Move produce sales in the back parking lot and
(2) Get Sweet, which is a showcase and mega bake sale fundraising fest for the clubs and performing arts.

We're not sure either of those will be possible this year. We need some new ideas about what we could do.
