After four shows quickly sold out, the University of Arizona’s Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium has added a fifth and final opportunity for the campus and Tucson communities to experience Phoebe Bridgers’ new album in full before its worldwide release. The final show will be Thursday at 10:30 p.m., and tickets are available (for now) at flandrau.org!

We’re proud to host this global listening experience, pairing Phoebe Bridgers’ new album with an immersive laser light show inside Arizona’s first planetarium.

Ahead of its worldwide release on August 14th via Dead Oceans, Phoebe Bridgers’ newest album Lost Weekend will debut in full inside planetariums around the globe. The listening session at Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium showcases the album with a unique immersive laser show designed by Laser Fantasy. This presentation offers an atmospheric perspective that turns your first listen into a shared sonic and visual experience.

For nearly five decades, Laser Fantasy has been captivating audiences in planetariums across America, combining artistic creativity with cutting-edge laser technology to transform domes into vibrant, concert-like environments.

Experience Lost Weekend for the first time in an immersive light spectacular from Laser Fantasy. This custom show fills the dome with dazzling animations, kaleidoscopic abstract imagery, and immersive aerial beam effects that surround you in light. Paired with each planetarium’s powerful surround sound system, the experience creates a stunning fusion of music and visuals that you can see, hear, and feel. Note: This is not a performance, and Phoebe Bridgers will not be in attendance.

📵No Phones Policy - Phoebe Bridgers has asked for phone and camera free events. The approximate run time of the show will be one (1) hour. Please note: All phones, smart watches, recording and filming devices will be secured in Yondr pouches upon arrival / entrance to the planetarium dome. You’ll keep the Yondr pouch with you, and can access your devices once you leave the planetarium dome. Guests who use recording devices during the event will be escorted out of the planetarium dome. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free listening experience.
